Divine Football Club Wins 2019 General Officer Commanding 1 Division Nigerian Army Youth Football Competition

Divine Football Club has emerged the winner of the 2019 edition of the General Officer Commanding, 1 Division Nigerian Army Youth Football Competition held in Kaduna.

Divine Football Club in a week-long competition at Ribadu Cantonment Sports Arena in Kaduna defeated the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) bombers 4-0 to lift this year’s trophy.

The initiator of the competition is General Officer Commanding (GOC), Major General Faruq Yahaya.

According to the GOC, many of the youths in the barracks are energetic, which should be harnessed for nation building and to win laurels for the nation, hence his unwavering interest to support a course that may lead to their great discovery through sporting activities.
