I think that Nigerians are so optimistic, believing anyone who comes to declare interest to rightfully transform Nigeria, will be readily available to do so.

Why are Nigerians so confident of a prosperous future when so much remains to be righted?
Starting from the popular saying that only a fool will be doing the same thing every time and be expecting different results. Many things have gone wrong in Nigeria as a nation. The problems are not really about who we have at the helms of affairs of our country, that is, it's not about their ability, capacity or personality but it's about the whole system itself. However, to start with, we need to appreciate our indigenous traditional culture and incorporate it into our system of Government as it's being done in China and Korea. We need to abolish foreign cultures. let's build on our indigenous traditional ones. A system that will be African oriented whereby our Traditional rulers and local chiefs will take over the polity (economy, security, infrastructure, education etc) and control the resources in their communities and then amongst them, we can carve out parliaments for each states, regions and the nation at large.
Believe me or not, thinking of a better tomorrow should start from thinking outside the box. We are endowed naturally with all we need to survive as a nation. Nigeria is indeed a blessed country both in human and material resources. We don't need to be depending solely on foreign systems. Each strokes for each folks. We are self sufficient in creating another system of government that is not known yet to the rest of world. A system that will incorporate our culture and give our life meaning. We can only borrow one or two things on the existing foreign systems.
Also, military government, democracy, parliamentary system of government e.t.c that our political elites are always discussing are all flukes as they are alien to our culture and traditions here in Africa. They have the same tone. Africans are different from the Whites in all ramifications so we need to act as our culture dictates.
