Winners Of 2020 Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS) Competition

About 250 pupils have emerged winners in their respective categories at the 2020 Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS) competition.

The pupils won trophies, medals, and certificates after answering mental arithmetic questions in the competition held in Lagos.

The Country Manager, UCMAS, Mr. Stephen Ofori, said the competition was recognised by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, Association for Childhood Education International, LIMCA Book of Records in India, Malaysian Book of Records, World Association of Abacus Mental Arithmetic of China and the Chinese Zhusuan Association.

He called on all schools and parents not to lose hope in their children but to enroll them in the Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS) Whole brain development programme in order to discover the genius within them.

According to Mr. Mr. Stephen Ofori:

“When both the right and left hemispheres of the brain are developed, the genius within a child is discovered. There is the need for corporate Nigerians and philanthropists to partner and support the UCMAS Nigeria and sponsor pupils from Nigeria for the annual UCMAS National and International competitions.

UCMAS Nigeria is a professional educational organisation headed by a team of directors who are dedicated to the course of offering society a novel and path-breaking method of education.

The  UCMAS programme which is recognised and practiced in over 80 countries worldwide was first introduced in Nigeria in October 2015, for the benefits of pupils between five and 14 years.”
