Rosemary Chukwuma has clocked a season’s best of 11.03 seconds (0.8) to win her 100 meters section at the 2025 Star Athletics Sprint Series in Florida.
With that time, she hit the qualification for the Tokyo 2025 World Championships, becoming the third Nigerian woman to achieve that after Favour Ofili and Tima Godbless.
Shannon Ray was second in that race in 11.32 seconds, while Candace Hill was third in 11.35 seconds.
