Ọrọnfo is a first-of-its-kind autobiography authored by Toju Micheal Ogbe and in him, his life, his story is Amorighoye Oritsemeyiwa.

Oritsemeyiwa Amorighoye: Ọrọnfo By Toju Micheal Ogbe (An Autobiography)

Meyiwa (aka Oggiggs – Oggigganus Paratus) is the only fish in my life. He is more than a friend and wonderful brother, who I have known since 2006 at the university – Benson Idahosa University. We stayed at the same hostel (Faith Mansion) and also the new one we were later moved to close to the school gate.

I love his perfect blend of seriousness and great humor to life – perhaps the reason he studied Sociology. A great observer of life, responsible, peaceful, hard-working, very kind-hearted, a foodie and trustworthy. He has nicknamed almost everything in my life from Umbrella to Golden Hair to PV to Crayfish area to Moron lane to P things to 17 to Fruity, etc.

This my Owewe Brother and his lovely mum (special woman in my life) accommodated me and fed me during my years of job hunting in Lagos as well as when I traveled severally between Nigeria and Ghana for my studies/holidays. We have done Oil and Gas training together, showed me the way to SASB (lol), my Cameroonian customer and the P zones.

Meyiwa changed my life for the best literally when he paid me a surprise visit in Abuja at the PositiveNaija Art Gallery and Gift Shop on the 22nd of August 2025. He encouraged me to consider investments such as shares, mutual funds, treasury bills, etc. but insisted I do my due diligence and I can always ask him questions and man, I did ask a whole lot of questions at random times of the day as I studied around the subject and he was extremely gracious to respond to them well. I imagined and had regrets of not knowing and starting such a long time ago even with my MBA degree (honestly, I did not take investment/business as a serious interest at the time I undertook the degree as I was rather focused on strategic and project management). I did anyway while back at the University on very small amounts but the experience was not great and then after my discussion with Meyiwa, I check the company out (Aims Asset Management) and I realized that the company eventually folded up. I was afraid as I am very conservative by nature and little by little I started. I began to see money very differently and I would occasionally call him to tell him how grateful I was for what he has done to me. On my blog PositiveNaija with the goal of educating a lot more people on financial literacy, I commenced a weekly research series in the 47th week of this year and dedicated it to Amorighoye Oritsemeyiwa, of presenting the top gainers/best performing stocks on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) Market for the week making inclusions of the share price, the price-to-earning (P/E) ratio, growth percentage, return on equity and major news highlight of the respective shares. On the 21st of November 2025, I received my first ever dividend from share investment (MTN Nigeria shares) of the sum of 2,250 Naira. I was very excited – not just for the money but for being financially educated – even though it is a continuous learning process. I am forever grateful to Meyiwa for this. I have also been thinking a lot on how best to repay him – perhaps start with a small amount for now but fixed for a very long time for his first child till the child is of age and handover to him/her.

One thing I would love to do with him in this lifetime is to go to Ghana with him – we have planned it several times but yet to do it – hopefully someday.

By the way, I do forget his birthdays (I just know it is on the 26th of either May, June or July) but Amorighoye Oritsemeyiwa is my brother and I love him dearly.
