2025 Tom Jones Memorial: Kanyinsola Ajayi Wins Men’s 100 Meters Race Event

Kanyinsola Ajayi has just opened up his season at the 2025 Tom Jones Memorial in Florida, powering a new Personal Best (PB) of 9.96 seconds (1.9) to win the men’s 100 meters race event.

He becomes the 10th fastest man in Nigerian history, beating LSU’s Jelani Watkins who ran 10.03 seconds and T’Mars McCallum in 10.04 seconds.

2025 Tom Jones Memorial: Tima Godbless Wins Women’s 100 Meters Race Event

Tima Godbless has clocked a time of 11.14 seconds (-2.4) to win the women’s 100 meters race event at the 2025 Tom Jones Memorial.

She overcame Kaila Jackson, who was second in 11.16 seconds.

The Tennessee duo of Faith Okwose and Elo Blessing Okpah went 1-2 in the following heat, posting 11.45 seconds (0.4) and 11.49 seconds respectively.

Blessing Ogundiran competed in the final heat, and clocked 11.44 seconds to finish fourth.
