2025 NCAA DII: Joy Udo-Gabriel Wins Women’s 60 Meters Race Event

Joy Udo-Gabriel has stormed to a new personal best (PB) of 7.11 seconds to win the women’s 60 meters race event in the 2025 NCAA DII.

She broke her own NCAA Record from two weeks ago. as well as the Missouri Southern School Record for the seventh time this year.

NCAA D2 100 meters Champion, Alexis Brown was a far second in 7.28 seconds.

2025 NCAA: Temitope Adeshina Becomes First Nigerian Athlete To Win NCAA Title In High Jump

Temitope Adeshina has become the first Nigerian athlete to win an NCAA title in the high jump event at the 2025 NCAA as she rose over a height of 1.94 meters.

The event was held on March 15th, at the Virginia Beach Sports Centre.

She tied with Elena Kulichenko (Georgia), who also jumped the same height and saw off NCAA Leader, Rachel Glenn, who was third with 1.91 meters.

2025 Arizona Spring Break Fiesta: Charles Godfred Wins Long Jump Event

Charles Godfred (Minnesota) made his outdoor season debut at the 2025 Arizona Spring Break Fiesta, leaping to 7.93 meters (+1.2) for the win.

At the same competition, Precious Opinion finished third in the long jump with 7.47 meters and second in the triple jump, landing a personal best (PB) of 15.26 meters (0.3).

Diandrenique Gaines and Ta’Mihja Nichols, rounded the podium in 7.41 seconds and 7.47 seconds respectively.

Udo-Gabriel has tied Success Umukoro as the second-fastest Nigerian in the 60 meters this season.
