Lasse Kurt Nielsen (born 9th October, 1972 ) known professionally as Lascii, is a Danish international recording solo singer, songwriter and producer from Amager, Copenhagen, Denmark.
EARLY LIFE
In the heart of 1972, a musical luminary was born, known to the world as LASCII but christened Lasse Myhre. From the vibrant echoes of his childhood in 1978, where kitchen pots and pans birthed rhythmic symphonies in collaboration with Argentine friends, to the moment his mother intervened, banishing the drumsticks but igniting an eternal flame of musical passion within him, LASCII journey to stardom began.
The year 1984 marked a pivotal turning point as Lascii’s fingers graced his father’s old Yamaha organ, birthing his debut composition and setting the stage for a destiny intertwined with melody and magic. Guided by his sister’s boyfriend, Kelly, maestro of pianos and synthesizers, Lascii discovered his true calling, a path illuminated by the enchanting fusion of sound and soul.
Empowered by a synthesizer gifted by his unwavering mother in 1986, Lascii embarked on a relentless pursuit of musical mastery, combing through music stores and immersing himself in piano lesson to refine his craft. By 1991, his modest home studio stood as a testament to his dedication, a sanctuary where dreams took flight and melodies blossomed in symphonic splendor. Under the tutelage of the illustration KIM LARSEN, the nocturnal sage of music, Lascii delved into the depths of creation, crafting melodies with coffee and cigarettes till the dawn. “You do it at night with coffee and cigarettes, till the sun comes up,” Larsen would often say, encapsulating the essence of their moonlight symphonies and the transformative power of music that bound their souls together.
As the late ’80s cast it’s spell, Lascii thirst for knowledge led him to MARIETTA WANDALL’s evening school session in 1987-1988, where he delved deeper into intricacies of music theory composition, expanding his artistic horizons and honing his craft with each lesson. With each keystroke and chord, Lascii’s musical prowess blossomed into a force to be reckoned with, a symphonic sensation who wove tales of sound and soul that resonate with audiences worldwide.

He made his mark with his debut album “Dance with a stranger,” released through the orchard on November 15, 2024, a project that introduce his signature blend of pop, dance and heartfelt emotion. Just two weeks later he followed up with his sophomore album featuring Southern Nigeria female Afro-pop artist SOPHIASONIG tittle “Amazing tonight,” on November 29, 2024, proving his relentless drive and musical versatility. In early 2025 continue to build momentum with his third album, “When the night comes” (January 20, 2025) followed his fourth project “looking at stars” (March 5, 2025) each on expanding his global reach and deepening his sound.
February 28, 2025, saw the release of his fifth album, “the Mrs will,” an record exploring love, connection, and perseverance. Under his label UNIQMA RECORDS also introduce new talent like 6choc a UK based female rapper Mdee Vybz a Nigeria Afro-beat artist, Kachiano – a Nigerian base Afro-pop sensation, Sophiasonig a female Afro-pop artist from southern Nigeria and Mdee Vybz a female Afro-beat artists added to the label. Lascii’s fourth album came by featuring Kiachiano on the first track, WAIT mixed and mastered by an Austria based producer Mercel Holzer. Mdee Vybz dropped debut album on April 6, 2025, reflecting Lascii commitment to uplifting others in the industry.
LASCII’s international collaborations continue with Nigerian artist Corey Peezy on the single “100 miles” accompanied by a visually captivating video release on June 10, 2025. Never slowing down, Lascii released another studio albums. “The Mrs will” which contains two albums “The Mrs Will,” will be out on November 1, 2025, further solidifying his evolution as a global pop force. His upcoming project “The Mrs Will For The Others” and “Forever Yours” promises to push boundaries even further with release date yet to be announced. Lasse Myhre popularly known as Lascii since he started singing in 2002, he has composed over 80 songs.
