The Business Tycoon Innovations cofounded by The Business Tycoon of Lagos who is also a singer songwriter [Lady Bennie Janet Kavita], has just released her new single on Audiomack titled “The One I Want” via Janet Recordz and is set to transform Africa with another single and two important initiatives set to launch in September 2026, so please anticipate.
The co–founder who is also the co-founder of eight (8) other organisations; noted during her address today that one of the most profound things she learned in her UK business school was this:
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”
She added that anyone who is not fully aware of how and when she began, or the long sequence of pivots, experiments, failures, insights and transitions that built this company step–by–step, may mistakenly assume that The Business Tycoon Innovations is a derivative or copy of another project due to the previous name choice.
For example: one could easily assume that Creative Ideas Factory – which another business eventually registered before we chose the name The Business Tycoon Innovations – was inspired by Abuja Creative City, a government-backed Public–Private Partnership between the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism & Creative Economy and Creative Park Ltd, which was publicly announced on TVC Breakfast on 28 February 2025.
However, the reality is different.
The now Business Tycoon Innovations officially launched today just before we found out about Abuja Creative City for the very first time.
Even more importantly; our operating model, our scope, our philosophy of creative economy enablement, and our geographical launch plan are fundamentally different.
The Business Tycoon Innovations is starting operations in Lagos, not in Abuja; and we are definitely taking a different direction in design, execution, methodology and partnership architecture.
We respect Abuja Creative City — we see them as a fellow contributor to the creative economy architecture.
However, The Business Tycoon Innovations is not a copy.
- We are original.
- We are authentic.
- We are our own blueprint.
And the market will see this clearly as we roll out.
