Awarded for his deep understanding of the dynamics and economics of the real estate market, by consistently providing insights and market intelligence that have aided investment decisions by small, big, local and foreign investors. Uroko, a graduate of English Language from the University of Nigeria (UNN), started his career in journalism as a Proof Reader in Vanguard Newspaper, from where he joined BusinessDay as a Sub-Editor, a function he combined with Politics/Governance reporting.

The awards were presented by the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), Nigeria chapter at the second FIABCI yearly award and business dinner with the theme: “ Real Estate: It is all about the Economy” in Lagos.

The awardees were celebrated by the professional body, which comprises top real estate developers, investors, real estate reporters and members of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) after a rigorous selection process conducted by an award selection committee headed by Samuel Eboigbe, an estate surveyor and valuer.
