2024 Ed Murphey Classic: Ruth Usoro Wins Women’s Long Jump Event

Ruth Usoro has emerged winner of the women’s long jump event at the 2024 Ed Murphey Classic in Memphis, jumping 6.70 meters (0.0).

She had just two legal jumps, and it was only her first competition since she won the Triple Jump African Games title almost four months ago.

Chanice Porter was second with 6.50 meters, while Tyra Gittens followed with 6.35 meters to finish third.
