Team ATBU has emerged winner of the 2022 Financial Inclusion for All Hackathon competition held during the Nigeria Association of Computing Students (NACOS) national conference at Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State from August 16-18, 2022.
The Hackathon challenge was organized by Financial Services Innovators (FSI), a non-profit organisation committed to discovering tech talents in tertiary institutions, and enabling start-ups within the technology and financial services space; partnered by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), NIBSS, GDG Lagos, Flourish, AXA Mansard, and Yellow Cowries.
Team ATBU defeated eight other contestants to emerge winner and received ₦1 million, while the 1st runner-up, Team Sauki Health received ₦750,000, and the 2nd runner-up, Team BetaLife received ₦500,000.

George Imafidon has emerged winner of the 2022 Royal Academy Of Engineering Engineers Trust Young Engineer of the Year.
The Royal Academy of Engineering with the aid of the Worshipful Company of Engineers awarded Imafidon with a £3,000 prize for his outstanding works in engineering.
Imafidon, who emerged as the best among other five young engineers, also received the Sir George Macfarlane Medal according to a report by MyEngineers.
Team LAUTECH has emerged first place winner of the UI-UNILAG WASH Hackathon 2022 held at the University of Lagos, Akoka.
The winning team from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, (LAUTECH) included Taoheed Oyewo, Coker John, Ibrahim Christopher, Parick Obumselu, and Victoria Akintayo.

Team Software Chasers has emerged winner of the 2022 Microsoft Agro-Tech Hackathon organised in collaboration with Sterling Bank, NITDA and TedPrime Hub.
Team Software Chasers comprised of a team of students from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, which was led by Muhammad Auwal Muktar, the current president of the National Association of Computing Students (NACOS) and also a 400 level student while the other two members were: Mudathir M. Salahudeen (Albany), a 400-level student, who was the developer of the team and the Assistant Secretary-General of (NACOS) and Saadu Salihu Abubakar (Sultan), a 300-level student and the Software Director.
The grand finale, which was held at the Microsoft Office, Lagos Nigeria featured 10 solutions by 27 Nigerian youths from Abuja FCT, Benue, Enugu, Jos, Kaduna, Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Oyo and Sokoto.
