Divine Oduduru has emerged winner of the men’s 200 meters race at the UNF Invitational in Florida, USA with a race time of 19.88 seconds (+1.6m/s).
With this achievement, he becomes the 2nd fastest man in the world this season.
He beat Cravont Charleston to the win as the latter came in 2nd in 20.16 seconds, while Jo’Vaughn Martin got 3rd in 20.22 seconds.
After running 19.88 seconds over 200 meters, Divine Oduduru returned a Season Best of 10.05 seconds (+1.5m/s) to finish 3rd in the men’s 100 meters at the UNF Invitational. He finished behind his training partners, Trayvon Bromell in 9.88 seconds, the fastest in the world and Andre de Grasse in an identical 10.05 seconds.
Eniola Bolaji has emerged Gold winner at the 2021 Spanish Para Badminton International Championship, which held on May 16, 2021 in Cartegena.
Eniola made history as the first African to reach the final and win gold at a major para badminton international championship.
She achieved the feat by beating Ukraine’s Oksana Kozyna 18-21, 21-14, 21-18.

Asisat Oshoala was substituted in the 71st minute of the finals with Barcelona defeating Chelsea 4–0 on the 16th of May, 2021.

Sade Olatoye has set a new national record in Hammer throw while competing at the Jesse Owens Classic in USA.
Sade Olatoye achieved the feat on May 1, 2021 with a 69.89 meters throw to not only win the women’s Hammer Throw, but also take down Temilola Ogunrinde’s previous marker of 68.85 meters from 2019. Sade Olatoye’s throw effectively doubled and tripled as a Stadium and Meet Record, while she finished ahead of Gianna Rao (60.24 meters) and Angel Nkwonta (59.46 meters).

Chioma Onyekwere achieved the feat on April 24, 2021 by getting a new Personal Best (PB) and Nigerian Record of 63.30 meters, improving on her previous PB of 61.38 meters set at the 2019 World Championships in Doha.
