She had just two legal jumps, and it was only her first competition since she won the Triple Jump African Games title almost four months ago.
Chanice Porter was second with 6.50 meters, while Tyra Gittens followed with 6.35 meters to finish third.

He broke his PB set during the collegiate season, bringing with him Favour Ashe for a Nigerian 1-3 as the latter finished third in a solid 10.10 seconds. Ronnie Baker was second in 10.09 seconds.
Samuel Ogazi has emerged winner of the men’s 400 meters race event at the 2024 Luzern Athletics Meet in a time of 45.18 seconds.
He defeated US Indoor Champion Brian Faust who was second in 45.28 seconds and Zakithi Nene in 45.35 seconds.
Ezekiel Nathaniel has emerged winner of the men’s 400 meters hurdles event at the 2024 Holloway Pro Classic in Florida, clocking a time of 48.21 seconds ad leading from gun to tape.
He defeated Chris Robinson who was second in 48.96 seconds.
Favour Ofili has emerged winner of the women’s 100 meters and 200 meters race events at the 2024 Holloway Pro Classic clocking 11.07 seconds and 22.36 seconds respectively.
After her win over 100 meters, she returned to track less than an hour later, winning the women’s 200 meters.
Her training partner Candace Hill was second in 22.62 seconds, while Adaejah Hodge got third in 22.66 seconds.
