Fakorede Nicholas has clocked a time of 10.12 seconds (2.0) to win the men’s 100 meters race section at the 2025 Ed Murphey Classic in Memphis.

He was just 0.01 seconds off his personal best set in March, beating Deveyon Blacknell who posted 10.14 seconds and DeAndre Daley in 10.15 seconds.

2025 Meeting Della Leonessa: Emmanuel Ojeli Wins Men’s 400 Meters Race Event

Emmanuel Ojeli has won the men’s 400 meters race event at the 2025 Meeting Della Leonessa in Italy, running the fastest time in all the four heats to emerge tops in the event.

Ojeli clocked a time of 45.86 seconds to win heat 4, beating South Africa’s Mthi Mthimkulu who finished second in the race with a time of 46.04 seconds. Italy’s Matteo Raimondi came in third, crossing the line in 46.60 seconds.

2025 Grand Prix Nove Mesto nad Metuji: Alaba Akintola Wins 100 Meters Race Event

Alaba Akintola has ran a meet record of 10.18 seconds (-0.4) to win the men’s 100 meters race event at the 2025 Grand Prix Nove Mesto nad Metuji in Czechia.

He was just outside his Season’s Best, beating Jamaica’s Odaine McPherson, who ran 10.21 seconds and Jan Volko in 10.42 seconds.

2025 Meeting de Sotteville: Kanyinsola Ajayi Wins men’s 100 Meters Race Event

Kanyinsola Ajayi has ran an equal personal best of 9.92 seconds (1.7) to win the men’s 100 meters race event at the 2025 Meeting de Sotteville.

He equalled his personal best set at the NCAA Championships, beating a quality field that had Emmanuel Eseme in 10.04 seconds and Mamadou Fall Sarr in 10.10 seconds.

Eugene Amo-Dadzie followed in 10.16 seconds.

2025 Eugene Diamond League: Chukwuebuka Enekwechi Sets African Record In Men’s Shot Put Event

Chukwuebuka Enekwechi has set a new African record with a throw of 22.10 meters to finish third at the 2025 Eugene Diamond League.

Joe Kovacs won the event throwing a World Leading mark of 22.48 meters.

Roger Steen narrowly edged out Enekwechi for second place, throwing a Personal Best of 22.11 meters on his fifth attempt to secure second place.

Enekwechi tried to better that on his last attempt, but finished with a mark of 21.68 meters.

2025 ATX Sprint Classic: Favour Ofili Wins Women’s 100 Meters Race Event

Favour Ofili has emerged winner of the women’s 100 meters final at the 2025 ATX Sprint Classic in Texas with a time of 10.78 seconds (3.1).

She defeated Gabby Thomas who ran 10.95 seconds and Kayla White in 10.97 seconds.

Rosemary Chukwuma was also in action and posted 10.98 seconds to finish fifth.

Ofili had run a new Personal Best (PB) of 10.87 seconds in qualification.
