Immaculate Daniel has set a new Illinois State women’s 60 meters race event record, clocking a time of 7.26 seconds in only her second outing for the school.

She had first equalled D’Jenne Egharevba’s record of 7.33 seconds in the heats before taking it to new heights.

She finished well ahead of her second-placed teammate Lindsey Miller in 7.43 seconds.

Fakorede Nicholas Wins Men’s 60 Meters Race Event At 2025 Samford Invite

Fakorede Nicholas for Mississippi State has won the men’s 60 meters race event at the 2025 Samford Invite in a time of 6.64 seconds.

His win time is the fastest by anyone from the school since D’Angelo Cherry in 2008.

He led a Nigerian 1-2 finish with Olaolu Olatunde who set a new school record of 6.68 seconds in his first race for Harding University.

Caleb Joshua Wins Men’s 200 Meters Race Event At 2025 Nevada Silver And Blue Invitational

Caleb Joshua has emerged winner of the men’s 200 meters race event at the 2025 Nevada Silver and Blue Invitational in 20.86 seconds, ahead of Shemar Palmer in 21.09 seconds.

He won, a day after setting an African under-20 record over 60 meters, becoming the first man from his school, Alaska Anchorage, to break 21 seconds.

Faith Okwose for Tennessee Vols, has emerged winner of the women’s 60 meters race event at the 2025 McFerrin – 12 Degree Invitational clocking a Personal Best (PB) of 7.34 seconds.

She beat Royaltee Brown who finished in second place in 7.36 seconds.

Magdalene George has won the women’s 60 meters race event at the 2025 Silver and Blue Invitational in Nevada with a personal best (PB) of 7.27 seconds.

She surpasses the school record for the second time in a day, holding the school records across 60 meters to 200 meters.
