She defeated a stacked field that included Olympic Champion Elaine Thompson-Herah who was eight in 11.48 seconds and Gabby Thomas, fourth in 11.34 seconds.

He ran in poor conditions, being the only man to perform under 46 seconds as he defeated Zarik Brown in 46.10 seconds and Evan Miller in 46.98 seconds.
Alaba Akintola has won the 200 meters race event at the 2024 Music City Track Carnival in Tennessee, clocking a Season’s Best (SB) of 20.79 seconds (-1.7) under rain.
He beat Joseph Amoah who clocked a time of 20.91 seconds and, in turn, finished ahead of Chidi Okezie who ran 21.05 seconds moments after he won the 400 meters.
