Tobi Amusan has emerged winner of the 60 meters hurdles event at the 2024 Meeting Lievin in France with a time of 7.83 seconds.

She defeated Laeticia Bapte who posted a Season’s Best (SB) of 7.97 seconds and Sarah Lavin in 7.98 seconds.

Edose Ibadin has set a new national record of 1:15.89 over 600 meters at the 2024 Big Apple Invitational in New York.

He broke his own record set in 2022, while he moved up to 7th on the all-time African list.

Alex Amankwah won the 600 meters event in a time of 1:15.82.

Success Umukoro has emerged winner of the women’s 200 meters race event at the 2024 KSU DeLoss Dodds in Manhattan with 23.42 seconds.

She also had a Personal Best (PB) of 7.28 seconds in the 60 meters race event.

Temitope Adeshina has leaped 1.90 meters to win the women’s high jump event at the 2024 KSU DeLoss Dodds in Manhattan.

This is her third victory in 2024 as she finished ahead of Sharie Enoe who got 1.85 meters and took attempts at a would-be personal best of 1.97 meters. 

Erhire Omamuyovwi Best has emerged winner of the men’s high jump event at the 2024 KSU DeLoss Dodds Invitational in Manhattan with a Season’s Best (SB) of 2.20 meters.

That’s the best height by a Nigerian in 2024 so far, finishing ahead off Devon Richardson and Kennedy Sauder, second and third respectively with 2.15 meters.

Usheoritse Itsekiri has emerged winner of the 60 meters race event at the 2024 Jim Daly Bisons Classic in Winnipeg.

He won clocking a Season’s Best (SB) of 6.62 seconds, only just one-hundredth of a second off his personal best (PB).

He finished well ahead of Jordan Soufi in 6.75 seconds and Evan Essapa in 6.88 seconds.

Tobi Amusan has set a new African women’s indoor record in 60 meters hurdles event in 7.75 seconds at the 2024 NB Indoor Grand Prix in Boston.
