FIRS Wins 2022 CBN All Financial Institutions Football Tournament

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) football team has emerged winners of the 2022 CBN All Financial Institutions Football Tournament.

In the final match of the 35th edition of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) All Financial Institutions Football Tournament played on 10 December 2022 at the Pantami stadium in Gombe, FIRS edged Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) 1-0 to emerge champions.

Victor Bright and Nnenna Ahube have emerged winners of the 2022 NLNG Golf Classic in the men and ladies categories held on 11 December 2022 in Bonny, Rivers state.

The NLNG Golf Classic sponsored by Nigeria LNG Limited is in its fourth edition.

Team Delta State Wins 21st National Sports Festival

Team Delta State have emerged overall winner of the 21st National Sports Festival with a total of 648 medals at the event held in Asaba, Delta state.

Delta won 320 gold, 200 silver and 128 bronze medals to edge 35 other states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Delta’s neighbours, Bayelsa, came second with 132 gold, 115 silver and 90 bronze medals, followed by another of their neighbours.

Edo, which hosted the festival’s 20th edition, won 78 gold, 94 silver and 167 bronze medals to make it a South-South affair in the top-three ranking.
