Dispassion for Good News in Nigeria

Why do a good number of Nigerians lack interest or passion or appreciation for good or positive news achieved by Nigeria and Nigerians?

Yeah that's true. I just noticed it in this video contest on going now . 90% of my friends turned it down, saying all sorts of nasty things. I think it's because they believe these topics are not feasible with Nigerians or do they find it unusual. I just find it hard to grasp.

Gutsyman, do you mean they're actually educated as expected but the purpose of education in their lives is defeated?🤔

Well, in my opinion i think it  is because there is so much emphasis on bad/sad news. Everyday you wake there is one sad news or the other waiting to be told and once its out it spreads like wildfire leaving in its wake sadness and despair. This leaves alot of Nigerians less motivated and excited  about positive news.
