Rosemary Chukwuma has emerged winner of the 60 meters race event at the 2023 Texas Tech Open and Multis inside the Sports Performance Center.

Chukwuma ran a time of 7.09 seconds to win the 2023 Texas Tech Open and Multis on January 27, 2023 thereby breaking her school – Texas Tech University’s – record in the women’s 60m for the second time in 2023.

Favour Ofili Sets New Records At 2023 Arkansas Randal Tyson Invitational In Fayetteville

Favour Ofili has ran a personal best (PB) of 22.36 seconds to win the women’s 200 meters race event at the 2023 Arkansas Randal Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville on February 11, 2023.

The Louisiana State University (LSU) standout sprinter now has the fastest time in the world this year as well as setting new national and African records in the process.

Ofili’s blistering time at the 2023 Arkansas Randal Tyson Invitational not only won the event but broke her own school and meet record and is the number one time nationally and the world. The mark was the second fastest time ever run in collegiate history and sixth fastest in world history.

Two Nigerian startups RiceAfrika Technologies and Wicrypt have emerged winners in different categories at the 2023 Rocket Fuel Pitch Competition with a total of $300,000 cash reward. 

The competition took place at the 2nd edition of the LEAP Technology Exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Grants of €1,000 is awarded to each of the winners of the 2022 Story Prize.

Most of the Story Prize winners used Hostwriter in some way to develop and realise their stories. All stories have been a co-authored collaboration between journalists worldwide.

At-tabiya Stem School Abuja has emerged overall winner of the inaugural Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) Nigerian Girls Can Code Competition.
