Tobi Amusan has become the first Nigerian athlete in history, to be nominated for the World Athletics 2022 Athlete of the Year of Award.

The 25 year old’s name was among the 10 women athletes released on 12 October 2022 by World Athletics as nominees for the Women’s World Athlete of the Year 2022 award.

Safiyyah Olajide Wins Inaugural YSP Intellectus Online Quiz Competition

Safiyyah Olajide has emerged winner of the maiden edition of Intellectus online quiz competition organised by Your Study Path (YSP) in partnership with Liberty Pay.

The competition is aimed at developing and equipping Nigerian students with 21st century learning and skills accessibility.

The winner, Miss Safiyyah Olajide, received a cash prize of ₦250,000,​ while the first and second runners-up, Adaolisa Anaemene and Kabirat Jimoh received a cash prize of ₦150,000 and ₦100,000 respectively.

Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Football Team Wins 2022 Ships And Ports Maritime Cup Competition

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) football team has emerged winner of the 2022 Ships and Ports Maritime Cup Competition held on 28 October 2022.

The NPA defeated the Nigerian Navy team by a lone goal in the final event.

This is the second time the NPA team would lift the Maritime Cup. The team first won the trophy in 2018.
