Winners Of British Council Creative Enterprise Support Programme [2020]

Five winners have emerged in the British Council’s Creative Enterprise Support Programme [2020].

The winners selected were: Cherish Ibeh of Cher Stunner; Vivian Ogbuagu of Handsmithen; Anthony Sule of Antoine Collections; Misan Atsemude of Omali Bridals and Mabel Sontan of Adire Biz Hub.

Each of the winners receive £2,000 each in grant funding and mentorship with key fashion industry players.

Winners Of REEL Foundation 2020 Young Writers Challenge

Winners have emerged at the REEL Foundation maiden edition of the ‘Young Writers Challenge’ (YWC) in Lagos.

The Young Writers Challenge is a story writing competition, which was designed to provide an avenue for children aged 7-13 years across Nigeria to be resourcefully engaged outside the physical school environment with the goal to ignite imagination, ingenuity, promote, reward diligence and excellence.

It was on this backdrop that contestants were asked to write a story on how the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has impacted their life or people around them and what has been learned from the experience of staying at home.

Winners Of 2020 NCDMB Nigerian Oil And Gas Technology (NOGTECH) Hackathon

Five teams have been selected as the winners of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Technology (NOGTECH) Hackathon sponsored by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).

The teams are Fuel Intellisense, Homefort Energy, Gricd Mote, Kiakia Gas and Airsynq and their projects were picked as the most innovative and bankable by judges after the 15 semifinalists made presentations on their innovations.

The three-day NOGTECH Hackathon had teams with detailed engagement with industry experts, mentors and entrepreneurs.
