16-year-old Jane-Frances Okorie, a student of Lagos State Civil Service Senior Model College student, Igbogbo, Ikorodu has emerged winner of the 9mobile Future CEO Speech Competition 2022.

She triumphed over nine other finalists in a keenly contested speech battle held at the Immaculate Heart Comprehensive Senior High School, Maryland, Lagos.

Chinasa Nweze Emerges Best Overall In West Africa In May/June 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)

18-year-old Chinasa Nweze has emerged the best overall in West Africa in the May/June 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

She and two other students who placed second and third position respectively in the International Excellence award were rewarded at the 70th Annual meeting of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) held in Abuja on 15 March 2022.

Chinasa Nweze triumphed over 1,500,000 million candidates that sat for the school exam in the five member countries in the sub region.

Engineer Mustafa Balarabe Shehu Becomes First WFEO President Elect From Sub-Saharan Africa

Engineer Mustafa Balarabe Shehu has emerged the President Elect of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) in Costa Rica at the World Engineering Summit 2022.

He is the first Engineer from sub-Saharan Africa to hold the position.

The World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) is the international organization for the engineering profession. Founded in 1968, under the auspices of UNESCO, WFEO brings together national engineering institutions from some 100 nations and represents more than 30 million engineers.

Michael Moses representing Delta and Ayomide Bello representing Bayelsa have emerged overall champions of the 2022 Admiral Porbeni National Boat Race.
