Eniola Mariam Bolaji has become the first African Para-athlete to advance to the semifinals of a Para-Badminton event during the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Bolaji recorded a straight set victory in the women’s Singles SL3 quarterfinals, beating India’s Mandeep Kaur 2-0 (21-8, 21-9) to book her spot in the last four.
