The 2022 Desmond Osayamwen Memorial Football Monthly Quiz is organised to recognise, honor and celebrate the life, work and legacy of Mr. Desmond Osayamwen.

The football quiz sponsored by his family is aimed at promoting the virtues of the game of football including fitness and health, happiness, unity, economic upliftments, etc. – which Mr. Desmond Osayamwen was passionate about and involved in.

The competition features football matches around the world in various competitions having Nigerian players on the featured teams.

Eligibility and expectation(s):

• Open to everyone
• Participation is free – at no cost to the participants
• Participants can predict in every available match
• Multiple predictions by a participant on a single match is not allowed
• Timelines (GMT +1; Nigerian time)
• PositiveNaija Team is not eligible (excluding Volunteers)

Competition rules:

• Predictions are to be taken on a created Topic at the scheduled date and time on 2022 Desmond Osayamwen Memorial Football Monthly Quiz.
• Predictions are to be submitted before kickoff of respective matches. Predictions after kickoff of a game will be nullified.
• If you edit your post containing your predictions to the games, that edited time will be taken/noted as the time in which you predicted the game(s).
  
• A game slated for a particular month is automatically unavailable for predictions if it is officially postponed or cancelled. If the game is postponed from the original set date and is rescheduled to hold within the same month, then it remains available for prediction.
• To participate in the competition, register on the PositiveNaija Q&A Forum with your username being your full names (same as your bank account name – should you win).
• Winners are declared based on the most correct/accurate score prediction per match in the fastest time.
• Winners are communicated with to provide their account details towards receiving their prize through their email addresses used in registering on the Forum.
• PositiveNaija on behalf of the sponsoring family sends to the winners their reward.
