Miracle Oluebube Ezechukwu Wins Girls 200 Meters Race Event At 2025 African School Games In Algeria

Miracle Oluebube Ezechukwu has won Gold medal in the Girls’ 200 meters race event at the 2025 African School Games in Algiers, Algeria.

She becomes the new African secondary school champion.

Ezechukwu, a student of Nigerian Tulip International school, Abuja, led a Nigerian 1-2 in this event, winning the GOLD medal with a new personal best of 23.40 seconds. Her schoolmate and training teammate, Chigozie Rosemary Nwankwo got the Silver medal, finishing second with a time of 24.04 seconds. Nwankwo had won the 100 meters title, and Ezechukwu finishing second to her in that event.

2025 Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern: Sunday Israel Okon Wins 100 Meters Race Event

Sunday Israel Okon has emerged winner of the men’s 100 meters race event at the 2025 Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern in Switzerland.

Okon led a Nigerian 1-2-3 finish as well as with a new Personal Best (PB) of 10.06 seconds (0.0) to win the event. He finished ahead of teammate Kanyinsola Ajayi, who finished in 10.09 seconds. Favour Ashe ran 10.16 seconds to finish third.
