The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) men team and the NSCDC women teams both have emerged winners of the 2019 national volleyball premier league in Abuja.
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) defeated the all conquering Customs male team 3-2 (21-25, 25-18, 22-25, 25-22, 15-9), but the Nigeria Customs Service retained their title, having won their four previous games with 30 points.

Hello Tractor, an AgriTech startup, has won the sum of $15,000 at the 2019 Bosch Africa Smart Mobility competition in Johannesburg. The startup, alongside Kenya’s Buu Pass, emerged winner in a final competition that hosted 11 finalists from seven countries. The competition was launched in August this year and it assessed applications from 222 teams across 27 African countries.
The other startups that pitched at the event were Bonang.ai, Bwala, Dronamics, Hovo, Mobility, Moja Ride, Motolix, Naviafleet and ParkCrowdy.

Gidi Giants of Lagos have defeated Gombe Bulls 58 to 51 to emerge champions of the inaugural Temple Jam Basketball Championship.
