Yusuf Anka Wins 2023 Global Shining Light Award

27-year-old Yusuf Anka has won the 2023 Global Shining Light Award in the large outlets category on the September 21, 2023.

At an event held in Gothenburg, Sweden, Mr. Anka’s documentary on the BBC Africa Eye was adjudged the joint best among over 400 entries from over 80 countries.

TheCable Launches Disability Inclusive News Application Platform (DINA)

TheCable has launched a Disability Inclusive News Application platform (DINA) on May 9, 2023 to promote disability inclusion in Nigeria.

The app, which aligns with the Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Act 2019, will also safeguard Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) against misinformation through Cable Check.
