ThriveAgric, has emerged as the winner of Central Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEMEA) Visa Everywhere Initiative (VEI), a global innovation program and competition for start-ups and fintech companies.

With this win in the CEMEA region, ThriveAgric will receive a monetary prize and a spot in the Global Finale scheduled to hold in Qatar, in November 2022.

Carepay, another Nigerian fintech also made it to the final five and won the Audience Favourite Award.

ARM has announced Tunde Adeyemi as the winner of the 2022 Deji Alli ARM Young Talent Award (DAAYTA) programme at the finalists’ pitch event.

Tunde Adeyemi of D-Olivette Enterprise, emerged winner out of seven contestants to claim the ₦12 million grant. His business idea – D-Olivette is a social enterprise that is accelerating the advent of sustainable domestic biogas biodigester for clean cooking, electrification, and sustainable agriculture.

The enterprise is doing this through the provision of domestic biodigesters innovation exclusively designed to convert household, farm organic waste and biodegradable wastewater into fertilizer and biogas within ten days.
