Kehinde Monsurat Agboola has emerged as the best graduating medical student at the College of medicine, University of Sierra Leone [2019/2020].

She had eleven (11) best awards in a row, which has never been achieved in the history of the West African country.

The Award and Swearing Ceremony took place on 9th April 2021, she graduated on 13th April 2021.

Professor Nnenna Otti Emerges As First Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) Female Vice Chancellor

Professor Nnenna Otti has emerged as the first Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) female Vice Chancellor.

Her appointment as the 8th Substantive Vice Chancellor (VC) of the University,  succeeds Professor N.J Okeudo whose tenure has elapsed. Before the new post, she was the Dean of Post Graduate Studies.

Professor Nnenna Otti is from the Department of Soil Science Technology, SAAT.

Izuchukwu Godswill Edeani has emerged overall winner of the 774 Young Nigerian Scientists Presidential Award (774 – YONSPA) [2021].

Akinwande Oluwatomisin from Ondo State came second, while Etukudoh Emmanuel Imeh from the Federal Capital Territory won the third position.

Faith Odunsi Wins Global Open Mathematics Tournament [2021]

15-year-old Faith Odunsi, a student of The Ambassadors Schools, Ota, Ogun State, has won the Global Open Mathematics Tournament 2021.

Faith won the Global Open Mathematics Tournament, an international competition with participants from Europe, Africa, America, Asia and Australia.

Alongside the title of being the winner, Faith Odunsi also won a monetary award of $1,000. The organisers would also come for the official presentation of the award.

Adeyemo Abraham Adedayo Emerges Best Graduating Veterinary Medical Student At University Of Ibadan [2018/2019]

Adeyemo Abraham Adedayo has emerged the best graduating Veterinary medical student of the 2018/2019 set at the University of Ibadan (UI).

This was showcased at the golden induction ceremony of graduating Veterinary Doctors into the Veterinary profession held at the vet faculty’s auditorium on the 10th March, 2021.

The faculty inducted eighty (80) graduands into the graduate membership of the Veterinary Council of Nigeria.

Thirty (30) of the inductees obtained distinctions in different courses, while Adeyemo Abraham Adedayo emerged overall best.

Ndubuisi Chibuzor Paul has emerged winner of the 2020 Jemila Abubakar Memorial Essay Competition organized by the Asido Foundation, in honour of their late member and mental health activist, Miss Jemila Abubakar.

Ndubuisi Chibuzor Paul, a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) received 100,000 Naira for his win.

Anthony Awi Temitayo Adeola, a Medicine and Surgery student at University of Lagos (UNILAG) emerged second place winner and received 70,000 Naira for her win.

Odigwe Chukky Bryan, a Medicine and Surgery student at University of Ibadan (UI) emerged third place winner and received 30,000 Naira for his win.
