Adesewa Adeniyi Wins 2019 Nigerian Stock Exchange Essay Competition

Adesewa Adeniyi has won the first prize at the Nigerian Stock Exchange 2019 Essay Competition for Senior Secondary School students in Nigeria.

Adesewa Adeniyi, a student of Grandmates Schools in Isolo, Lagos, emerged winner ahead of 40,965 students across the country and was given ₦500,000 in scholarship fund for university education, ₦500,000 worth of equity investment and a laptop.

Her school was presented with three desktop computers and a printer.

Emmanuel Eze Wins 2019 ATAF Continental Tax Essay Competition

Emmanuel Eze has won the 2019 African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF)  continental tax essay competition among 132 other tax writers from across the African continent.

Emmanuel Eze, an official with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS, Nigeria) who received the award at the ATAF’s 10 years anniversary and the International Conference on Tax in Africa (ICTA) held in Kampala, Uganda submitted an entry titled: “Taxation Of Digital Economy And Africa’s Quest For Fiscal Justice: Challenges And The Need To Put Our Best Foot Forward.”

Winners have emerged at the 18th Chris Ikomi Memorial Essay Competition designed to encourage academic excellence among students in Delta State in the junior and secondary categories.

The Chris Ikomi Memorial Essay Competition, organised by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporative (NNPC) and Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) joint venture in partnership with the Delta State Ministry of Education, was held in Asaba.

12-year-old Chika Ofili, has won the 2019 TrueLittle Hero award for his discovery of a new mathematics formula when he made a divisibility by 7 – a new way to divide in mathematics.

The TruLittle Hero Awards is yearly event, which gives recognition and celebrates marveling achievements of children and young people who are still under the age of 17 years in the United Kingdom.

Oluwatobi Ojo Wins 2019 NNPC National Science Quiz Competition

Oluwatobi Ojo has won the 2019 Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Science Quiz Competition for secondary schools across Nigeria.

Oluwatobi Ojo emerged as the winner at the grand finale of the competition held at the NNPC Towers in Abuja on November 21, 2019.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, a pupil of APT Scholars Universal College, Ota, Oluwatobi Ojo, won the first prize for Ogun state with 80 points, while Mbazu Justice from CSMT Staff Secondary School, Abakaliki in Ebonyi State, took the second position with 70+points.

Nwachukwu Ugochukwu of Dority International School Aba, Abia State, took the third position with 70 points.

Abibat Owolabi Emerges Best Graduating Master’s Student At University Of Ibadan [2019]

25-year-old Abibat Owolabi has emerged as the overall best graduating Master’s Degree student at the University of Ibadan. She obtained the degree from the Department of Botany, Faculty of Sciences.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Abel Olayinka, announced this during the convocation ceremonies of the university that Miss Owolabi graduated with CGPA 7.0.
