Team Cash flow has emerged the winner of the maiden edition of the First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) Hackathon Competition, with cash prize of ₦3 million.
Also, Team Ace won the second position with ₦1.5 million, while Team CyberSmart, won third position with ₦750,000.
The participating teams are expected to develop some financial solutions to boost banking services, leveraging on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.

Kaywood Elijah Leizou wins the 2018 World Chemical Sciences (Metal Speciation in Sediment) Championship defeating 5,845 other nominations from 89 other countries.
The International Agency for Standards and Ratings (IASR) recognises Mr. Kaywood Leizou as the new world champion and among the world’s 500 most influential experts on earth in chemical sciences for the year 2018.

Olajide Folarin, Sadiq Aderinto and Stanley Dukor have emerged joint winners of the Data Science Nigeria 2018 Inter-Campus Machine Learning Competition.
The three students (Olajide Folarin – Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; Sadiq Aderinto and Stanley Dukor – University of Lagos, Akoka) emerged winners following an intensive five-day boot camp.
The competition was sponsored by Bluechip Technologies and organised by Data Science Nigeria.
