Track Your Build has been selected among 10 African tech startups that will take part in the latest Airbus Bizlab Africa4Future Accelerator Programme.

Track Your Build provides aerial and resource data for construction and engineering projects. It identifies African tech entrepreneurs using innovative aerospace-based solutions to tackle the continent’s most pressing challenges such as transportation, agriculture and healthcare.

LawyerApp and GreenAge Technologies have both emerged overall winners of the GenesysIGNITE 2.0 Tech Pitch held in Enugu.

LawyerApp is an online community for legal practices and GreenAge Technologies, a solar inverter company. Both winners receive $15,000 as seed fund for their businesses.

Winners Of Oracle Academy Students Hackathon 2.0

Winners have emerged at the Oracle Academy Students Hackathon 2.0 held at Grange School, Ikeja, Lagos, with about 100 competing primary and secondary school students.

According to Dele Tejuoso, founder of WifiCombat Academy, a co-organiser of the event, this second edition was held to gauge the technology competencies of the students, as well as increase awareness on societal issues, whilst helping to re-shape the students’ perceptions about themselves.

Three winning groups emerged and were rewarded with various gifts from Oracle Academy and MTN.

Team Cash Flow Win 2018 First Bank Hackathon Competition

Team Cash flow has emerged the winner of the maiden edition of the First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) Hackathon Competition, with cash prize of 3 million.

Also, Team Ace won the second position with 1.5 million, while Team CyberSmart, won third position with 750,000.

The participating teams are expected to develop some financial solutions to boost banking services, leveraging on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.

Kaywood Elijah Leizou wins the 2018 World Chemical Sciences (Metal Speciation in Sediment) Championship defeating 5,845 other nominations from 89 other countries.

The International Agency for Standards and Ratings (IASR) recognises Mr. Kaywood Leizou as the new world champion and among the world’s 500 most influential experts on earth in chemical sciences for the year 2018.
