Officer Cadet Sunday Linus Ogbole has received the King Hussain Award by the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst for the most improved International Cadet of the Intake on the Regular Commissioning Course.

According to the British High Commission in Nigeria:

Winners Of 2nd Nigerian Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs)

Winners of the second Nigerian Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) have been announced at a Gala Dinner held at Securex West Africa Lagos on 16 April 2019.

In attendance were leading security professionals who gathered to recognise and celebrate the excellent work companies, teams and individuals make across the security sector.

OSPAs founder Professor Martin Gill commented:

“The OSPAs provide an independent platform to showcase excellence and outstanding performance – ensuring that those who contribute to maintaining high standards are recognised and rewarded.

United Nations Honors 140 Nigerian Peacekeepers Serving With MINUSMA

The United Nations has honoured 140 Nigerian peacekeepers serving with the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) for their courage and commitment to peacekeeping.

Deputy chief of the United Nations Police Component (UNPOL), Brig-Gen. Jean Voillot, presided over the ceremony that held in Timbuktu.

Adeola Austin Oyinlade Wins 2018 IBA Award For Outstanding Contribution To Human Rights

Adeola Austin Oyinlade, has been declared winner of the International Bar Association (IBA) Award for Outstanding Contribution by a Legal Practitioner to Human Rights for 2018.

The award was presented to him at the 2018 IBA Conference in Rome, Italy ahead of other finalists from many countries across the world for his courageous stand for human rights and his pro-bono legal services to the poor in Nigeria.

Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen Conferred ISRCL 2018 Michael Hill Prize

The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen, has been conferred with the ISRCL 2018 Michael Hill Prize for his reform agenda, which has positively changed the way the Nigerian judiciary works.

The 2018 Michael Hill Prize award was presented to the CJN in Montreal, Canada, by the International Society for the Reform of Criminal Law (ISRCL), an international non-governmental association of judges, legislators, lawyers, academics, and police and corrections professionals, at its 31st conference in Canada with the theme: “The Scourge of Trafficking in the 21st Century.”
