He paced himself well, taking just 3 throws and winning well clear of Cameron Bates (BYU), who reached 69.62 meters and Riley Marx (Kansas State) in third with 68.04 meters.

Rosemary Chukwuma clocked a Season’s Best (SB) of 11.12 seconds (0.2) to win the women’s 100 meters final at the 2024 Big 12 Championships in Texas.

She finished well clear of Iyana Gray, who ran 11.24 seconds and Kevona Davis, an overall third in 11.32 seconds.

Godson Brume has emerged winner of the 100 meters race event at the 2024 SEC Championship punching an instant qualification for Paris Olympics with a Season’s Best of 9.99 seconds (+0.6).

Brume successfully retained his SEC Championship title, running his first sub 10 seconds of 2024.

Nathaniel Ezekiel has set a new personal best and National Record in the men’s 400mH at the 2024 Big 12 Championships with 48.00 seconds.

He almost broke 48 seconds, defeating defending champion Caleb Dean, who had to settle for second in 48.43 seconds while Oskar Edlund was third in 48.82 seconds.

He is currently the third fastest in the world and eight all-time in Africa.
