Nigerian Handball team have emerged champions of the 2024 under-18 IHF Trophy Africa Men Continental title held in Addis Ababa.

Team Nigeria defeated Guinea in the final, winning the match by 38-26 to secure the trophy. The Nigerian team won all their games en route claiming the trophy in Addis Ababa.

Not only did that triumph earn Nigeria the title, they will now represent Africa at the IHF Trophy Intercontinental Championship in 2025.

Veteran long distance runner, Joy Ebiye has emerged winner of the 9th Lagos Women Run held at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS).

It finished at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, running the loop of Lagos Island and part of Victoria Island to end at the stadium.
