Precious Nzeakor has won both the 100 meters and 200 meters race events at the 2025 Crimson Tide Invitational in Alabama.
She won the women’s 100 meters in a time of 11.49 seconds (0.6), just two-hundredths of a second off her personal best (PB). She then won the 200 meters in 23.32 seconds (-0.3).

Success Umukoro has clocked a new Personal Best (PB) of 11.25 seconds (1.1) in the women’s 100 meters race event at the 2025 Jo Meaker Classic in Texas.
She finished ahead of Ruth Agadama who ran a huge PB of 11.35 seconds, just edging Anita Afrifa who ran 11.36 seconds.

Vincent Ugwoke has achieved a new Personal Best (PB) of 62.72 meters in the men’s discus throw event at the 2025 South Florida Invitational.
That’s the biggest throw by a Nigerian athlete since Stephen Mozia (62.80 meters) in 2014. He won ahead of Quentin Peterson, who threw 60.30 meters in second.
Ugwoke Vincent Wins Men’s Discus Throw Event At 2025 Florida Relays
Ugwoke Vincent threw 61.00 meters to win the men’s discus throw event at the 2025 Florida Relays on his second attempt.
He was the only man over 60 metres, beating Seth Allen (Auburn) who got out to 59.30 meters, and Desmond Coleman (Miami) with 57.77 meters.

Godbless Tima has emerged winner of the women’s 200 meters race event at the 2025 Battle on the Beach in California, winning in a time of 22.66 seconds (2.3).
She led a Nigerian 1-2 finish with Ella Onojuvwevwo, who broke 23 seconds for the first time in 22.97 seconds, albeit windy. Christine Mallard was third in 23.03 seconds.
