Charles Godfred secured his third win on the trot this outdoor season, producing a last-round attempt of 7.99 meters (+2.3) to win the men’s long jump event at the 2025 Florida Relays.
His preceding attempt was a wind-legal 7.98 meters. Cameron Crump was second with 7.97 meters (2.1) and Kennedy Stringfellow third with 7.68 meters (1.1).
Ekporere Prosper has emerged winner of the men’s 110 meters hurdle event at the 2025 Battle at the Beach in California, clocking a time of 13.61 seconds (3.4), an all-conditions Personal Best (PB).
He beat Brithton Senior (USC), who ran 13.69 seconds, with third going to Ekporere’s GCU teammate, Francisco Meyers, also in 13.69 seconds.
Rosemary Chukwuma has emerged winner of the women’s 100 meters race event in a time of 11.08 seconds (+5.6) at the 2025 Battle on Bayou in Baton Rouge.
She finished ahead of Jassani Carter in 11.11 seconds, while Tima Godbless finished third in 11.20 seconds. Justina Eyakpobeyan (USC) also won her own 100 meters section narrowly in 11.32 seconds (2.8).
Tobi Amusan has won the women’s 100 meters race event at the 2025 Velocity Fest in Jamaica, winning in a time of 11.28 seconds (-0.5).
She beat 100 meters specialists, Serena Cole who was second in 11.45 seconds and Anthonique Strachan in third with 11.46 seconds.
Fakorede Nicholas has powered to a new Personal Best (PB) of 10.11 seconds (+1.5) to win the men’s 100 meters at the 2025 Bulldog Alumni Relays.
He smashed his PB of 10.23 seconds, which he ran three times over the course of the past two years. Behind him was Jaci Summers in 10.22 seconds, followed by his Mississippi teammates Danarrion Ard (10.30 seconds) and Cyrus Jacobs (10.32 seconds).
Vincent Ugwoke opened up his season with a win in the men’s discus throw event at the 2025 USF Alumni Invitational, landing a mark of 59.56 meters.
Aaron Aranda was second with 58.64 meters. At the same meet, Precious Opinion jumped 15.13 meters (0.9) to finish second in the men’s Triple Jump.
Esther Elo Joseph makes her outdoor NCAA debut with a new Personal Best (PB) of 51.58 seconds to win the women’s 400 meters race event at the 2025 USF Alumni Invitational.
She broke the previous PB (51.61 seconds) set en route winning African Games Silver last year. Cydney Wright, her Tennessee teammate, was second in 51.96 seconds.
