The Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN) of Ibadan has emerged the overall winner of the 2022 RIGAN Games (Research Institute Games Association of Nigeria).
The Games were held at the Area 10 Parade Ground in Garki and Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The 2022 RIGAN Games featured 998 participants from 22 research institutes.

The University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) has emerged as the overall winner of the 2022 Nigeria University Games Association (NUGA)’s sporting activities.
The 26th edition of the sporting event was held at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) from March 16 to 26, 2022.
Twenty-one games including football, volleyball, basketball, handball, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton, hockey, cricket, chess, taekwondo, judo, swimming, Karate, strong man, beach volleyball, athletics, squash and boxing among others were competed for.
