GET IT RIGHT AFRICA LAUNCHES GHANA INITIATIVE TO EMPOWER VULNERABLE WOMEN AND YOUTHS THROUGH SKILLS ACQUISITION AND ECONOMIC REINTEGRATION

Anagkazo Child Hope Foundation, Nigeria, through its flagship pan-African development programme, Get It Right Africa, has intensified efforts to address unemployment, economic hardship, social vulnerability and youth involvement in harmful social activities through its Ghana Initiative.
The initiative is designed to provide practical skills acquisition, entrepreneurship development, financial literacy and sustainable livelihood opportunities for vulnerable women, young people and disadvantaged members of society.
The Ghana Initiative seeks to reach vulnerable Nigerians living in Ghana, particularly women exposed to prostitution and other difficult social circumstances, alongside Ghanaian women and youths who require opportunities for economic empowerment and personal development.
The programme is built on the conviction that many individuals trapped in difficult circumstances can rebuild their lives when provided with the right opportunities, practical training, mentorship and economic support.
A PRACTICAL APPROACH TO EMPOWERMENT
Through the initiative, participants will have access to practical vocational training, business development education and opportunities to discover and develop their talents.
Some of the proposed training areas include:
– Soap and liquid detergent production.
– Baking, cake production and pastries.
– Solar panel installation and maintenance.
– DSTV and satellite installation.
– Entrepreneurship and small business management.
– Financial literacy and business development.
Beyond training, the foundation intends to facilitate access to startup support, mentorship and business opportunities to help participants establish sustainable sources of income.
A PAN-AFRICAN VISION
Get It Right Africa is not designed to be limited to one country. It is a growing African development initiative aimed at promoting economic empowerment, human development, entrepreneurship and regional cooperation across African countries.
Having initiated activities and engagements in Zambia, the programme is now expanding its activities in Ghana, with a broader vision of reaching more African communities.
The foundation believes that Africa’s development requires practical interventions that equip people with the knowledge, skills and resources to become economically productive.
CALL FOR PARTNERSHIP AND SUPPORT
Anagkazo Child Hope Foundation is inviting Ghanaian and international NGOs, corporate organisations, churches, philanthropists, government institutions, development partners and well-meaning individuals to collaborate with the initiative.
Partnership opportunities include financial sponsorship, vocational training equipment, training facilities, mentorship, startup support, media partnerships and professional expertise.
The foundation believes that transforming lives requires collective responsibility and welcomes organisations and individuals willing to contribute to this vision.
Speaking on the initiative, the Executive Director, Pastor James Odumu Audu, reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to creating opportunities for vulnerable individuals and promoting sustainable development across Africa.
He emphasised that the goal is not simply to train people but to help them discover their potential, develop economic independence and become productive contributors to society.
