Gifty Nnaji Wins Amnesty International 2024 National Human Rights Debate

Gifty Nnaji, a student of Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State has emerged overall winner of Amnesty International 2024 National Human Rights Debate.

Abdul Korede of the University of Ibadan emerged the first runner-up while Enebechi Joel of Enugu State University of Science and Technology emerged the second runner-up.

2024 Last Chance Qualifier: Alaba Akintola Wins 100 And 200 Meters Race Events

Alaba Akintola has won the 100 meters and 200 meters race events at the final of the 2024 Last Chance Qualifier in Georgia.

He clocked a Season’s Best (SB) of 10.08 seconds (+1.2) to win the men’s 100 meters final, beating Ronnie Baker who was second in 10.14 seconds and Ameer Webb in 10.20 seconds.

He returned to the track for the 200 meters, running away with the win in a time of 20.40 seconds (+0.3) ahead Ameer Webb in 20.60 seconds and US Indoor Champion Brian Faust in 20.66 seconds.
