Steve Akpabio has emerged overall winner of the Inoyo Toro Foundation 2022 Best Principal in Akwa Ibom State award at a ceremony on November 4, 2022 in Uyo.

Steve Akpabio, the principal of Christian Secondary Commercial School, Uyo receives a cash prize of ₦500,000 for emerging the best principal in the state.

The award, which is organised annually by a not-for-profit organisation, Inoyo Toro Foundation, is in its 15th edition. It is meant to boost education in the state.

Nigeria Wins 12 Medals At Para Powerlifting 2022 African Open Championships

Nigeria has won a total of twelve medals comprising nine gold and three silver at the Para Powerlifting 2022 African Open Championships in Cairo, Egypt.

At the end of the four-day event on 30 October 2022 held at the Dr. Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall, the Nigerian para powerlifters created three world records and two African records.
