Oguzie Kenneth, a Nigerian-Canadian based entrepreneur and Founder, Africa Canada Trade and Investment Venture, received the honour in an award ceremony in Canada.

The regions in Eastern Canada where his contributions were actively recognised included Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island provinces.

Ruth Usoro Wins Triple Jump (Women) At 2021 NCAA Indoor Championship

Ruth Usoro has emerged winner in the women’s Triple Jump event at the 2021 NCAA Indoor Championship with a 14.27 meters leap.

Six (6) Nigerian athletes were in action at their respective NCAA Championships; five of those being at the Division I Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas while one competed at the Division II Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.

Izuchukwu Godswill Edeani has emerged overall winner of the 774 Young Nigerian Scientists Presidential Award (774 – YONSPA) [2021].

Akinwande Oluwatomisin from Ondo State came second, while Etukudoh Emmanuel Imeh from the Federal Capital Territory won the third position.

Faith Odunsi Wins Global Open Mathematics Tournament [2021]

15-year-old Faith Odunsi, a student of The Ambassadors Schools, Ota, Ogun State, has won the Global Open Mathematics Tournament 2021.

Faith won the Global Open Mathematics Tournament, an international competition with participants from Europe, Africa, America, Asia and Australia.

Alongside the title of being the winner, Faith Odunsi also won a monetary award of $1,000. The organisers would also come for the official presentation of the award.
