Delta State University (DELSU) best graduating student, Ossaiugbo Marcus Ifeanyi, with 4.86 CGPA, offered automatic employment by the state government.

Vice Chancellor, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Professor Victor Peretomode, said 24 students of the University bagged first class degree at its 10th Convocation. The Vice Chancellor said this in his address at the convocation arena in Abraka.

Saidat Sanni is 2014-2015 LAUTECH Overall Best Student

Miss Saidat Sanni, a 22-year-old student from the Department of Statistics has emerged the overall best student of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).

Saidat Sanni, who hailed from Abeokuta in Ogun State, emerged after securing a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.88 to overrun Olufemi Ige of the Mathematics department, who secured a CGPA of 4.85 in the 2013/2014 session.

Nigeria Emerge 3rd At African Women Beach Volleyball 2016

Nigeria Female Team wins 3rd place at the African Women Beach Volleyball 2016 Olympics Qualifiers at the Jabi lakeside in Abuja.

The Nigerian teams 1 and 2 will now participate in the Women Beach Volleyball World Championship.

The qualifiers are being hosted by the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) in conjunction with the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB).
The win saw Nigeria’s team 2, which has African champions Priscilla Agera and Isabella Laju, defeating Mauritius’s team 1 of Angelique Ramdoss and Vanessa Gellumber, 21-15 and 21-15 to end the game 2-0. In another game, Nigeria’s team 1, made up of Fransisca Ikhiede and Tochukwu Nnoruga, beat Mauritius’s team 2 of Maita Cousin and Heidy Bauda 21-10, 21-15 for a 2-0 finish.
