Shukurat Oladipo has been named the Best Defender in the Italian Women’s Serie A (2025/2026 season) following an outstanding debut season with AS Roma Women.
The 21-year-old Nigerian international was also included in the league’s official Team of the Season after playing a key role in Roma’s successful title-winning campaign.
Shukurat Oladipo, who can operate as a right-back or central defender, made 18 appearances during the season as AS Roma secured the Serie A championship and qualification for next season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League.
She was also included in the league’s team of the season, following her performance with AS Roma Women’s team, which won their third title in four years.Oladipo joined AS Roma in February 2025 from Robo Queens in the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL).
