Bayelsa Queens have emerged female champions of the 2022-2023 Nigerian Federation Cup, also known as the Nigerian FA Cup.

2021 champions, Bayelsa Queens, retained the women’s crown and their second Federation Cup title after edging rivals Rivers Angels 4-2 on penalties to take home the grand prize of ten million Naira.

Bendel Insurance Win 2022-2023 Nigerian Federation Cup

After 43 years, Bendel Insurance have emerged champions of the 2022-2023 Nigerian Federation Cup, also known as the Nigerian FA Cup.

The victory was thanks to a slim 1-0 win over Enugu Rangers at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta state on June 21, 2023.

PTA/NADP International College, Lafia, Nasarawa State, has emerged winner of the 2023 MTN Foundation Anti-Substance Abuse Programme (ASAP) Quiz Competition for secondary schools.

The 2023 MTN Foundation Anti-Substance Abuse Programme (ASAP) Quiz Competition was held following a series of elimination rounds held between June 6 and 7, 2023. The trio, Abdul Isa Salihu, Peace Monday and Augusta Opane Okyuwa, won the keenly contested competition with 50 points.

Nigeria Becomes First African Country To Adopt IFRS S1 And IFRS S2 Standards

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) of Nigeria, International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) and NGX Regulation Limited (NGX RegCo) on June 26, 2023 launched the first two IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 Standards).

The launch, which held at Nigerian Exchange Group house in Lagos makes Nigeria the first African country to adopt the standards, just as they were also launched in six major global financial centers including; New York, London, Frankfurt, Singapore, Santiago and Montreal.
