Winners of the second Nigerian Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) have been announced at a Gala Dinner held at Securex West Africa Lagos on 16 April 2019.
In attendance were leading security professionals who gathered to recognise and celebrate the excellent work companies, teams and individuals make across the security sector.
OSPAs founder Professor Martin Gill commented:
“The OSPAs provide an independent platform to showcase excellence and outstanding performance – ensuring that those who contribute to maintaining high standards are recognised and rewarded.
The judging panel were nominated by the leading security associations and scored each entry independently, and all those that were selected as finalists and winners demonstrated that they really are the very best and should feel extremely proud.”

He receives a cash prize of €5,400, artwork worth €3,000 and the purchase of 100 copies of his book at a ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland on June 29, 2019.

Mfon Udoh and Sanusi Ibrahim of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) have officially been rewarded with the 2019 Eunisell Boot Award and a cash prize of ₦2 million each for emerging joint-highest goal scorers in just concluded season (2018/2019).
Akwa United captain and Nasarawa United striker both scored 10 goals each this past NPFL season and Eunisell values a goal in the Nigeria Professional Football League at Two Hundred Thousand Naira (₦200,000) at the Eunisell Boot Awards 2019 ceremony held in Raddison Blu Hotel, Ikeja-Lagos.

Okagbare-Ighoteguonor Blessing has emerged first place winner in the women’s 100 meters event at the 2019 IAAF Diamond League in Rabat, Morocco.
Okagbare-Ighoteguonor Blessing won the event at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium with a Season Best Time of 11.05 seconds ahead of her Ivorian rival and current African champion, Marie Josee Ta Lou, who posted a time of 11.09 seconds while Crystal Emmanuel of Canada was third in 11.30 seconds.
The race held on the on the 16th of June 2019 was Okagbare’s 60th appearance in the Diamond League and she marked it with her first-ever win in Rabat.
Vital Years Secondary School, Zaria, Kaduna State, has emerged the winner of the maiden edition of the MTN Foundation Theatre for Schools Competition organised for secondary schools across Nigeria.
The maiden edition of the MTN Foundation Theatre Competition, which drew participants from secondary schools across the country had its regional competitions in Ibadan, Zaria and Port-Harcourt respectively.
Idikan Baptist Comprehensive College of Ibadan emerged regional champion from the Ibadan zone while Nigeria Navy Secondary School of Port-Harcourt were the regional winners for that zone.
The eventual national winner, Vital Years Secondary School, emerged from the Zaria zone.
Accompanied by their respective coaching teams, the regional teams arrived Lagos to compete for the one million Naira prize money.

Peter Ogbonna Eze has emerged the most outstanding student of University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) Beijing in China.
Peter Ogbonna Eze was awarded the honor for the most outstanding student in the international degree programs among 2019 graduates during the convocation ceremony, which held on June 25, 2019.
Mr. Eze obtained a master’s degree in public administration.
