Blessing Ogundiran has emerged winner of the women’s 100 meters race event at the 2026 UCF Black & Gold Challenge, winning in a time of 11.37 seconds (-0.5).
She easily broke the Warner University School Record of 11.63 seconds set by Jahhi Clarke-Bromfield. Armanie Coleman from another section was a far second in 11.59 seconds.
Samuel Ogazi has emerged winner of the 2026 NCAA Indoor championship in the men’s 400 meters race event in 44.57 seconds.
He becomes the joint 4th fastest man in history. He defeated Justin Braun who finished second with a personal best of 44.67 seconds.
Blessing Akintoye has emerged winner of the 2026 NCAA DII women’s 400 meters race event in a time of 52.87 seconds ahead of Melanie Roland who ran 53.36 seconds and Kennedi Cline in 53.98 seconds.
This is Akintoye’s first NCAA title, a big step up from her 7th place finish at the same meet in 2025.
