CHICKEN CHANGE

Mum would go for work only leaving 100 naira for a grown old boy of 24 years. You have to stop this mum, I am not a kid.

Mum: learn to be appreciative in any little way you are assisted. Money isn’t leaf.

I hissed and went my way. Appreciative in peanut? God forbid!

The following morning, Mummy went to work without giving me anything. I ran quickly towards her to give me the usual peanut, she hissed and dashed out.

I couldn’t recharge airtime on my phone that day. What a lesson! I learnt to be appreciative.

DIRTY SLAP

If you do this again, I’ll give you a foul slap. Dad was speaking to me at the time.

I didn’t intend to do this. Because I was attempting to assist Bisi, she fell. For someone her age, the bucket was very hefty.

Dad gave me a harsh slap in response to Bisi’s incessant sobs.

Na so I lie down for ground for three days.

Words have great power. Even though I wasn’t at blame, he still did what he initially stated. This resulted in him paying a hospital cost of $10,000, which was not insignificant.

EYE SERVICE

Victoria and Tola were given specific instructions by pastor Kingsley to frequently clean the church. Only Victoria would carry out the work when the Pastor is gone. The Pastor made the decision to hold his prayers for three days in the church. When Tola realized this, she would clean the church very early in the morning so that the pastor would see her. She had no idea that the Pastor was aware of what she had been doing. Only Victoria received the award the Pastor had in mind for them.

Tola was robbed by Eye service
