“John!”. John walked grudgingly to meet his Mother in the kitchen when she called him. “Get me my phone from my room”, she said. Again, grudgingly he went to get the phone. His mother noticed his attitude, but kept silent. Minutes later, she called him again. This time around, John was trying to sleep, so he ignored her. She shouted his name three more times, before he finally answered in a disrespectful tone. On entering the kitchen, his mother was fed up with his misbehaviour that night, and before he knew it, she had slapped him.
